Digital Innovation Surgeries & Research Event

On Thursday the 19th of January, we joined forces with Allianz Personal to host an exciting series of workshops designed to help business owners unlock the full potential of technology. Guests indulged in delicious cuisine from Jikoni East Africa while listening to engaging presentations from Debra Kaye of LV= and Liam Holmes, Data & AI Innovations Lead at Allianz Personal. During the event, the research team invited participants to take part in our Business Data Platform Research, where they had the opportunity to share their thoughts and insights on what they need in a business data platform. Each participant was also compensated £50 for their valuable time.

In the first workshop, Debra Kaye, who works on marketing and trading at LV=, one of Allianz's Personal brands, led the group through a dynamic presentation on mastering the art of marketing. From website conversions and sales funnels to targeted advertising, Debra shared valuable insights on how to use tools like Google Analytics and Google Console to seamlessly integrate data into your social media channels and boost conversions. Participants were then able to have a short networking session, while half of the group partaking in the Business Data Platform Research first were taken to be interviewed.

In the second workshop, attendees had the pleasure of hearing from Liam Holmes, Data and AI Innovation Lead at Allianz Personal. Liam shared his wealth of knowledge on how to effectively harness the power of data to drive growth for small businesses. He also discussed exciting new solutions, for small retailers looking to take their business to the next level. The floor then opened up for another networking session where the group discussed data, enjoyed more food, and the second half of the group were taken to be interviewed for our Business Data Platform Research.

A thoroughly insightful evening was had by all, and we couldn't be more excited to start the six-month pilot of the software. During this period, we'll be putting it to the test and gathering valuable feedback to help us improve the product even further. We look forward to seeing the results of the pilot and taking the next steps in bringing this innovative solution to small businesses.
