Alexandra (‘Sandra’) MacRae
Policy
Alexandra’s first job was as Legal Officer for the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. She then practised as a solicitor for many years in Scotland, latterly specialising in Immigration Law. She then ventured South of the Border to Dorset where she was the first Director of Dorset Race Equality Council. She then moved to Gloucester where she was Director of GlosREC ( the Race Equality Council for Gloucestershire) until she retired in 2011.
Alexandra continued to contribute to BSWN’s objectives as a part-time Race Equality Officer and company secretary until 2014, and currently remains a part-time research assistant for BSWN working on issues around Access to Justice.
