As part of Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund, it is our mission to support African, African-Caribbean and South Asian heritage organisations in the region with their needs to thrive and be sustainable and connected in the sector. In this workshop, the attendees had an opportunity to consider which income streams and funding sources are appropriate for their creative heritage enterprise, and what they need to do to position your enterprise on a path towards success.

BSWN was delighted to host over 70 guests and speakers Thursday 6th February at 1pm at the M Shed. The aim of the event was to bring together the cultural heritage sector, academics, and community organisations, artist and actors in a conversation around what it means to do racial inclusion work within cultural heritage organisations and sites through a decolonial lens.

SWN was delighted to hold the first Black & Asian Business Network event of the year on Thursday 23rd January 2020, welcoming an audience of 30 local Black & Asian entrepreneurs and business at Clarke Willmott who kindly hosted the event. The event focused on  development of marketing & communication skills for your business, and was chaired by Bobbi O’Gilvie of Ready to Blog.
