Exploring Community Assets
Are you and your organisation ready for a Community Asset?
Are you a Black and Racially Minoritised organisation struggling to manage or obtain a community building to deliver community services and reduce grant dependency?
Many community organisations want to have a building to deliver services and more. Many may think acquiring a community ‘asset’ is a straightforward route to financial sustainability. Are you curious about what is involved and would like to explore this whole thing further?
Identify your prospects of managing or securing an asset and improve them with a plan of action!
Supported by Bristol City Council’s Community Resilience Fund (CRF), Black South West Network is encouraging Black and Racially Minoritised VCSE organisations and social enterprises to dive in, unpack what is involved and improve their understanding.
Acquiring and managing assets is challenging, and as you may already know, securing any space is not for the faint hearted. Our ambition is to find dedicated and committed organisations such as yours to explore possibilities by thinking things through and building credible plans which help unlock solutions and opportunities.
