NHS urgent mental health helplines are for people of all ages and if you or someone you know is having a hard time or having suicidal thoughts the NHS has a 24-hour helpline. To access it click HERE

  • Bristol City Council and the Environment Agency are working together to protect homes and businesses from flooding. The preferred approach is to create new flood defences or raise the level of existing flood defences in phases along lower sections of the River Avon riverbanks. Find out more HERE

  • The Samaritans offer a helpline and safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way. If you need support they won't judge you or tell you what to do, they will listen to you. You can also contact them by email or letter.

  • The National Debtline provides free, confidential, and independent advice on dealing with debt problems in the UK.

  • The impact that the COVID-19 outbreak is still having on our lives may cause us to feel anxious, stressed, worried, sad, bored, lonely, or frustrated. For some tips to help your mental health and wellbeing click HERE

  • Bristol City Council's Covid-19 page has been updated with the latest information about changes to services. For more information click HERE

  • Mortgage payment holidays have been extended. Borrowers who have been impacted by Covid-19 and have not yet had a mortgage payment holiday will be entitled to a six month holiday, and those that have already started a mortgage payment holiday will be able to top up to six months.

  • If you, a family member, or a neighbour are self-isolating, or feeling isolated, and need help getting food or medicine or doing other essential tasks click HERE

  • As England has recently gone into a second lockdown, the Clinical Commissioning Group have produced updated information in Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, Farsi, Mandarin, Pashto, Punjabi, Sorani, Tigrinya, Turkish and Urdu - you can read this information HERE

  • CASS (Community Access Support Service) has been working closely with Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and local volunteers to produce resources in a range of different languages used in the community about Covid-19 and the lockdown.   • Public Health England has also produced a number of posters on face coverings and social distancing in community languages, which can be downloaded HERE
